I’m Mark Murphy, an Artist, Designer and Musician, based in Birmingham, UK.

Working with found print and ephemera from the last 70 years, I create analogue, digital and motion collages and photomontages.

I create visual works that play with graphic composition, juxtaposition, space, scale and surrealism. Sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative, sometimes humorous.

I work from my home studio and a shared studio space in Stirchley, Birmingham, close enough to a chocolate factory to smell milk chocolate in the air on a densely cloudy day.

My work has been exhibited internationally, is held in public and private collections, has been projected and printed at grand scale, shown on television, in multiple publications, showcased at festivals and featured in national and international advertising campaigns.
